The Clifton Record is joining with other Central Texas newspapers to support the families of the victims of the Uvalde school shooting. One hundred percent of the proceeds collected will go to the Robb School Memorial Fund, which has been verified as an account set up by the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District through First State Bank of Uvalde. All proceeds will go to the families of the victims. None of the monies collected will be retained by the newspaper. All expenses associated with the project will be absorbed by the newspaper. This project is open to area businesses as well as individuals.

The unimaginable tragedy that occurred in Uvalde undoubtedly triggered fear and questions within many people. Are our children safe? Do our schools have any safety measures in place? Are our local law enforcement prepared and involved with our school districts?
