Our Hearts are with Uvalde - Your donation is important

The Clifton Record is joining with other Central Texas newspapers to support the families of the victims of the Uvalde school shooting. One hundred percent of the proceeds collected will go to the Robb School Memorial Fund, which has been verified as an account set up by the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District through First State Bank of Uvalde. All proceeds will go to the families of the victims. None of the monies collected will be retained by the newspaper. All expenses associated with the project will be absorbed by the newspaper. This project is open to area businesses as well as individuals.

The gunman who killed 21 people inside a Uvalde elementary school walked into the unlocked building unopposed, the Department of Public Safety said in a revised statement, as reported by the Austin American-Statesman and other media sources.
