The Bosque County Commissioners Court took several actions during its regular meeting on Monday December 5, in Meridian. The court approved the reappointment of Charlie Drexler and Donna Quarles to the Emergency Service District #1 Board of Directors.

Volunteers honored veterans by laying wreaths on their gravesites across southern Bosque County on Saturday, December 17. The wreath-laying ceremony at Clifton Cemetery alone drew over 100 participants on the sunny yet chilly morning.

What’s the secret to Jerry Godby’s longevity? That thought was among the many well wishes and glad tidings given by people who attended Godby’s 100th birthday celebration on Saturday, December 17. The Godby family estimated that over 100 guests from not only the Clifton community but also Valley Mills, Waco, Temple, and the state of Michigan participated in the afternoon festivities at the Clifton Civic Center.

Mental health fair slated at CHS Jan. 26

A mental health fair will be held at Clifton High School on Thursday, January 26, 2023. This fair will raise awareness about mental health to area students and the Bosque County community.
