Bosque Museum to wrap up exhibit with wedding party

Bosque Museum will present a closing reception for its popular temporary exhibit Say Yes to the Dress: A Community Exhibit, taking place on Saturday, October 29 at 2 pm. The event will feature traditional wedding style snacks including wedding cake and Jordan almonds, and will culminate in the announcement of the most popular dress in the exhibit.

DAR Day of Service honors law enforcement

Consistently supportive of local law enforcement, the Bosque River Valley, NSDAR, enthusiastically chose as their 2022 Day of Service project to purchase and deliver bottles of water and Gatorade to all local law enforcement in Bosque County. The bottled drinks were delivered to all eight law enforcement offices in the county.

Goodnight nephew BCGHS featured speaker October 8

Bosque County Genealogical & Historical Society’s last program of the year will feature awardwinning speaker and distant nephew of Charlie Goodnight, Andy Wilkinson. His presentation is entitled “On the Trail of Goodnight.” The meeting will be held on Saturday, October 8, at 1:00 p.m.
