The Clifton Cubs tangled with the Bulldogs of McGregor again last Friday. With the game knotted at 1-1 after two, the Cubs took the lead for good with a pair of runs in the 3rd, fueled by an RBI triple off the bat of Matthew Bronstad followed by an RBI single from Jackson Newton.
Trent Guinn earned the win on the mound for Clifton allowing just one run on seven hits while striking out three.
