ROLAND MARTIN SR.

Roland Clark Martin Sr. was born June 18, 1943, in Dallas to Gordon and Helen Martin.

He is predeceased by his parents; his brother Gordon Martin Jr.; his sons, Roland Jr. and Richard Martin; and his granddaughter Ashley Martin.

Roland is survived by his stepdaughter Roseanne Gioia; his daughter Rachel Ann Martin; his grandchildren Anachel and Jacob Martin; three great grandchildren; as well as many other loved ones.

Roland grew up in old east Dallas. He attended Lipscomb, Long, and Woodrow schools. In 1997 he moved to Clifton where he lived out the remainder of his life.

Roland passed on June 7, 2022, in Waco surrounded by loved ones.
