PAULINE WHEELER

Pauline Wheeler, age 97, of Morgan, passed away on May 19, 2022, in Meridian.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Morgan. Bro. Phil Murphy and Bro. Don Goates officiated. Burial was in the Morgan Cemetery. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers were Charlie Murphy, Roger Murphy, Clint Murphy, Todd Murphy, Dale Murphy and Phil Murphy.

Pauline Murphy was born on March 19, 1925, in Tyler to John Wesley and Martha A. McClure Murphy. She married Ward Dale Wheeler on August 26, 1944. She retired from Lockheed Martin after a number of years. During her time at Lockheed Martin she achieved top security clearance. Pauline took great pride in her work. She enjoyed being over the Morgan Cemetery for a number of years before her health forced her to turn that role over. Even as her health declined she could still tell you all about and where someone was at in the Morgan Cemetery. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morgan.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Linda Wheeler; grandchildren, Steven Wheeler and Holly Ryals and husband, Clint; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Martha A. McClure Murphy; husband, Ward Dale Wheeler; and son, Tommy Wheeler.
