Janell Atkins, born April 12, 1930, in Iredell to parents MA and Ida (Blue) Linch, passed away December 13, 2021, in Temple at age 91.
Janell grew up in Bosque County, lived in Houston and was a hairstylist. Janell came home to Iredell with her husband Royce. They were members of the Iredell Church of Christ.
Preceding Janell in death were her parents, husband Royce, son Ricky, and brothers Richard, Gene and Royce.
Surviving Janell are son Randy and wife Jackie; granddaughter Jennifer; and grandsons Greg and Jerry. Also surviving Janell are her brother Jim and wife Shawn; and several nieces and nephews. Janell was loved very much by her family and numerous friends.
The family would like to thank Hill Country Estates and Hico Nursing Home for their devoted care for Janell.
Visitation is at 2 p.m., Saturday December 18, 2021, until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Harvest Hills Funeral Home, Hico, Texas with Ken Tinsley officiating.
