Hollyne “Holly” Louise Kageler Gosdin, 80, of Iredell, left this earthly world and headed to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 20, 2022, surrounded by her children and her loving husband.

She was born September 20,1941 to Cecil and Maurine Holliman. She graduated from Channelview High school in 1959 where she was a cheerleader and a social butterfly. She attended Lamar University for a short time and eventually became a flight attendant for many years. Holly met and married her husband of 40 years, Robert Lynn Gosdin in 1982. Holly and Lynn were well known in the real estate world and worked side by side for many years in Bosque County and surrounding areas. Holly was an amazing artist. She was a published author of a children’s book and sent many manuscripts off to be published over the years, as well as songs copyrighted. Many of her original paintings and oil and pencil drawings hang in her own home and many homes of friends and family. She loved music and loved to sing as well and even recorded a song as a young woman.  She adored farm life. She loved working in the garden every year and sowing and harvesting her family’s own food. Her dogs were her babies and were always by her side or in her lap.
