Cynthia June Rogstad, 72, passed away on August 1, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Ryan Pederson officiating. Burial followed at Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4-6 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Clifton Funeral Home.

Cynthia was born on June 3, 1950, in Meridian, to BC Rogstad, Jr. and Agnes Schwartz Rogstad. Cynthia grew up on the family farm in the Mustang Community outside of Cranfills Gap. She attended Cranfills Gap school and went on to Hill College in Hillsboro.

Upon moving to the Dallas area, Cynthia initially worked in the legal field as a legal secretary for a small law firm. She eventually switched to the financial services community and managed a small credit union at the Market Center in downtown Dallas.

After some passage of time, Cynthia went back to school attending Richland Community College and then obtained her business degree from the University of North Texas. Cynthia was employed for a period of time at the disaster arm of the Small Business Administration. She then worked for over 25 years at Texas Credit Union League (Cornerstone) where she audited credit unions.

Cynthia is survived by her sisters, Linda Worley and Judy Rogstad Horton; niece, Kendra Thornton and husband, Wes, and their children, Reagan and Colin; nephew, Nathan Horton and wife, Katherine and their children, Hannah and Haley; nephew, Jonathon Horton and wife, Delissa and their children, Emma and Avery. She is also survived by her significant other of 25+ years, Ron Tiffany.
