Carroll Wayne Pierson

Carroll Wayne Pierson, age 72, of San Benito, TX, was called to his heavenly home Saturday October 23, 2021.

He was born on February 5, 1949, in Clifton to Jean and Doris Pierson.  After graduating Clifton High School in 1967, he attended Hill Junior College and graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in electronics.  

While growing up in beautiful Bosque County he loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and had a large collection.  He also enjoyed dove hunting and golfing.

He was preceded in death by parents Jean and Doris Pierson.

Survivors include wife Lisa; sons David Nisbet and wife Trish, and Eric Pierson; daughters Dana McBryde and husband Dwayne, Jovanna Pierson, Jordyne Pierson; and by his grandchildren Austin Weber and his wife Tiffany, Hannah Cate, Bellah McBryde, Mia Pierson, Kaitlin Pierson, Ashton Nisbet, Emily Nisbet; and great-grandchild Brooks Weber.  He was the middle child of three siblings and is survived by sisters Sandra Robison and Joan Gingras and husband Phil, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at Norse.
