At the recommendation of Meridian Chief of Police Blake Johnson, the City of Meridian accepted Sgt. Kyle Williams’ resignation of his duties as a police officer in Meridian Monday evening, effective immediately.
Williams received an honorable discharge and the police dog Diablo, who was in Williams’ care, has been donated to him.
