Students, staff and community mourn the loss of Meridian ISD staff member

Late on Thursday, Feb. 17 Meridian High School Paraprofessional Eliza Catchings passed away from a heart attack.

Eliza was well known and loved by the students whose lives she’s touched along with anyone else who knew her. 

Visitation for Eliza will Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian.  Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Meridian High School gym.
