Clifton Municipal Airport remains strong city asset after 56 years

The Clifton Isenhower Municipal Airport is a public use general aviation facility that is used for personal and business purposes. Construction began in 1965 on 25.18 acres. In 1966 another 5.7 acres was purchased, and through the years the total has come close to 60 acres. A 50-foot wide by 2,400-footlong airport was constructed with the assistance of a grant in 1966.
