Meridian Parks and Rec hosted their monthly free Outdoor Movie Night at the John A. Lomax Amphitheater last Saturday, although a rainy forecast forced the movie indoors at the Meridian Civic Center.
With the theme Stampede into Spring, the parks and rec featured Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, the 2002 DreamWorks Animation film about a stallion who was captured but could not be tamed.
