Rain may have moved the annual VFW and American Legion Memorial Day ceremony from the Clifton Cemetery to the American Legion Hall Monday, but it did not deter the community from turning out to honor those who gave their life for their country.
“Looking around, we seem to be getting more people every year and I think that says a lot about our community,” said VFW Post Commander Ricky Richards.
