The election was too close to call Tuesday, March 1 between Republican Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 candidates Michele Valdez and Leslie Perry. Unofficial election results show Valdez received 612 votes (42.24%) while Perry received 557 (38.44%). The third candidate, Stan Salome, received 280 votes (19.32%).
