A final judgement totaling nearly $1.5 million was signed in the case of elder fraud in Alaska against Bosque County Treasurer-elect Carla Sigler and husband Vernon Sigler.

An order signed earlier this week by Alaska Superior Court Judge Daniel Schally awarded the State of Alaska, Office of Elder Fraud and Assistance $450,000 in punitive damages.
