The second Saturday in September in Cranfills Gap is all about Septemberfest with the state championship BBQ cookoff and car show beginning at 9 a.m. on Sept. 10 in Cranfills Gap City Park.
The BBQ cookoff starts Friday night with a Kids Que at 7 p.m. at Wade Lee City Park. The state championship cookoff on Saturday includes an 80% payout.
