The Meridian City Council met Monday evening. Mayor Pro Tem Shawn Stauffer led the meeting as Mayor Johnnie Hauerland was not present.
During open comments, Jack Cameron addressed the council to thank them and the city employees for their help and support during the Parks and Recreations first Chisholm Chili Cook-off in June.
