Bomb threat made against Clifton High School

A Clifton student made a bomb threat against Clifton ISD early this morning using a hand written note. Clifton Police Department was contacted and the student was located quickly. A thorough investigation was completed by Clifton PD and Clifton ISD. The investigation determined threat was not credible and all students and staff were clear of imminent danger.

Superintendent Andy Ball said students need to realize all threats will be taken seriously and law enforcement will be notified. The student responsible will be punished as allowed by Clifton ISD's code of conduct. It is not known at this time if criminal charges will be filed.
