The yard looked great...

A younger cousin of mine texted that he’d be traveling near Clifton and wanted to stop by the ranch. He’s a busy surgeon whom we don’t get to see too often. So I was happy, despite the fact that I’d need to do some pretty fast tap dancing to get this place guest-worthy in less than 24 hours. Add to that fact that he recently became an almost-vegan, convinced he’ll live longer without meat. ---so fish, fruit and veggies.

Life’s full of change; and the need for a shuttle

I recall complaining a while back about my difficulties in traveling to Love Field in Dallas --- in order to fly on to visit my kids. This could be accomplished nicely if Zack wasn’t opposed to either driving me there or letting me take our shared “town truck” --- leaving it parked in a lot during my absence. For some reason, no one seems to trust my big city driving these days. I admit it’s been years since I drove all over Miami---- which can arguably claim some of the craziest drivers in the world. When I lived in South Florida, many newcomers and visitors from other countries seemed unable to read our signs and unwilling to obey our laws. I doubt much has changed, except the traffic’s grown geometrically worse.
