“Vaer saa god. Hjelp deg” is the traditional Norwegian invitation to the meal table. It has been a part of life in the Norse community between Clifton and Cranfills Gap since the mid-1800s.
It echoed again this past Saturday evening as the congregation of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church welcomed more than 230 guests to the 73rd anniversary Smorgasbord.
