On Dec. 2 the Lady Cubs travelled to Dublin to compete in a three-day tournament.

On Tuesday evening the Rogers Eagles (3-2) put up a fight against the (3-0) Clifton Cubs, but the Cubs remain undefeated in their season, coming out 73-70 over the Eagles. First play of the game the Cubs tried to set the tone by sinking a lay-up within the first minute.

On Tuesday afternoon The Lady Cubs (4-3) took on the Blum Lady Cats (0- 0). The first quarter of the game both teams seemed to struggle completing accurate passes and executing their shots.

On Tuesday, Nov. 23 the Meridian Yellow Jackets (0-3) travelled to Venus to square off with the Bulldogs (3-3).

Meridian Lady Yellow Jackets travelled to Hamilton to play in a tournament November 18th-20th. Although the Lady Jackets only won one out of four games, Coach Humphries remains positive.

On Nov. 23, Clifton Cubs (2-0) took on the Valley Mills Eagles (1-1) on the Cubs’ home court, beating them 59-37.

Their first day of Thanksgiving break the Lady Cubs travelled to Rosebud-Lott on Monday, Nov. 22 to take on the Lady Cougars, and brought home a win, 57- 46.

The Yellow Jackets had a rough time from the moment the clock began Tuesday afternoon. The young Jacket team made up of mostly juniors and a couple of sophomores just didn’t have the size or speed to get the job done.

The Lady Jackets hit the court and immediately took control of Texas Wind Tuesday afternoon. Texas Wind just could not pierce the Lady Jackets’ defense. By the end of the first quarter the Lady Jackets were up 15-3. Along with their shot accuracy the Lady Jackets’ passing game was quick and on target. The lady jackets really seemed to be in a groove as a team.
