Flossie Louise Johnson age 83, of Meridian, passed away on June 6, 2020 in Meridian.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the St. Olaf Lutheran Rock Church Cemetery in Cranfills Gap. Rev. Richard Creech will officiate.
Flossie Lousie Blassingame was born on December 23, 1936 in Valley Mills, Texas to Ernest Samuel and Louise Stamper Blassingame. She married Roy Edwin Johnson on April 19, 1957 in Cranfills Gap, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2000. In her free time she loved reading, gardening, fishing, and canning. You would often find her in front of her T.V. during baseball season rooting for her Texas Rangers. She will be truly missed.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Roy E. Johnson, Jr., and wife, Kim, of Gatesville, Ricky Johnson of Cranfills Gap, and Jerry Johnson and wife, Kim, of Cranfills Gap; 7 grandchildren; 3 greatgranchildren; brother, J.D. Blassingame and wife, Barbara, of Lufkin; sister, Patsy Ringer of Kountz; numerous other relatives and many friends.
