More students test postive for COVID-19

As local schools start the new year this week, three Bosque County students have already tested positive for coronavirus. “It’s not a matter of if, but when we get a positive case,” said Meridian Superintendent Kim Edwards at Thursday’s school board meeting.

Bosque in ‘dry’ conditions

Bosque County will not be enacting a burn ban for this week. Local fire department chiefs have said conditions haven’t facilitated a burn ban, said Bosque County Emergency Coordinator Chris Anderson.
