IN MEMORIAM: LINDA ISBELL

Linda Joe LeBarre Isbell, of Clifton, Texas, passed into her new life on Wednesday, January 20 after a determined battle against Covid-19 in Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Clifton, Texas at 11:00 am on her birthday and planned retirement day, Wednesday, January 27, with Rev. Mary Gean Cope presiding. State mandated social distancing will be practiced at this event and masks are required. Visitation with the family will follow the service. Please do not attend if you might be sick or if you have been exposed to Covid-19.

Bosque County reports two new COVID deaths

While the number of new COVID-19 cases increased a little slower than two weeks ago, Bosque County suffered two more deaths due to the virus, bringing the area’s total fatalities to 22. As of Monday, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services, the total number of confirmed cases in Bosque County reached 829, up from 801 the week before.
