Many Bosque County residents have been asking the same question. “When can I get the vaccine?” During Monday’s weekly Bosque County Commissioners Court meeting, Bosque County Emergency Coordinator Chris Anderson told commissioners there has not been a steady flow of vaccines in the county in two weeks.

Bosque County residents continue to see pitfalls of wind turbine farms

Since last week’s commissioners court meeting, more residents have spoken up about why wind turbines should not be built in Bosque County. Ranch Broker Stefanie Cobb of Cobb Properties said the wind turbines were “monsters.” Cobb and her family bought their first piece of property in Bosque County in 1984, and she said their decision was made in part because of the beautiful countryside the county had to offer.

Bosque County Emergency Coordinator Chris Anderson gave his weekly COVID-19 update during Monday’s Commissioners Court meeting. Anderson said DSHS combined two databases collecting COVID-19 cases into one, meaning hundreds of thousands of cases across the state weren’t being reported.

Clifton ISD’s Andy Ball selected for Elite Superintendent Academy

The Thompson Executive Leadership Institute in Austin has announced that Andy Ball, Superintendent of Clifton ISD, has been selected as one of only 25 superintendents from Texas and surrounding states to receive an academic scholarship to attend the 28th annual Superintendent Academy. The TELI Superintendent Academy is an elite, nationally known advanced leadership development program sponsored jointly by the TELI and Region 13 Education Service Center in Austin.
