The rate of new cases of COVID-19 continues to fall as the number of residents in Bosque County steadily climbs. As of Monday at 3:45 p.m.

-Christopher Hunter Jobe, of Gholson, was arrested on April 1 for the possession of marijuana less than two ounces. -Sherry Corinne Hamlin, of Walnut Springs, was arrested on April 1 for assault threat class C, two counts.

Fun at the BAC’s Big Event weekend

Attendees at the BAC’s Big Game Casino Night last Friday enjoyed games like blackjack. On Saturday, the crowd danced to Brian Barrett and Serengeti while others enjoyed each other’s company. The Big Event and accompanying e-BAC online auction raised money to defray operating expenses of the Arts Center, which hosts art exhibits, concerts, classes, summer camps for children, live theater, and a wide variety of other art-related activities. Clifton Library now a FamilySearch affiliate

The Nellie Pederson Civic Library in Clifton is proud to announce they are now a FamilySearch affiliate library. The library entered into an affiliate library agreement with FamilySearch back in November 2020 and the application was approved on December 29, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and FamilySearch working remotely, it has taken some time to get the library computers set up and ready to use, but the completion of that task was completed in March 2021.

-John Lynn Kolster, of Hamilton, was arrested on March 26 for the assault of a family or household member, previous conviction IAT. -Whitney Autumn Barrington, of Valley Mills, was arrested on March 26 for resisting arrest or transport and public intoxication.
