-William Dewayne Simmons, of Hubbard, was arrested by Bosque County on July 2 for the possession of marijuana less than two ounces and a child support warrant failure to appear. -Christopher Michael Mackey, of Kopperl, was arrested by Bosque County on July 2 for assault Class C.

On Monday Bosque County commissioners again extended the COVID-19 declaration of Local Disaster issued by the county judge for the next seven days. While discussing the agenda item, Bosque County Judge Cindy Vanlandingham said as long as there were grants available, the court would continue to follow through with their paperwork to keep relief funds in the county.

-Mark Wayne Sims, of Hamilton, was arrested by Hamilton County on June 25 for indecency with a child by sexual contact. -Kenneth Dravon Bible, of Clifton, was arrested by Bosque County on June 26 for driving with an invalid license with previous conviction or suspension without final resolution, violation of occupational drivers license failure to appear, driving with no insurance and driving with expired vehicle registration.

As of 11:05 a.m. Monday, the Texas DSHS reported 1,385 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Bosque County and an additional 313 cases were probable. Only 5 cases were active, and 1,656 individuals had fully recovered. The number of related deaths in the county rose by one to 37.
