Bosque County Senior Services and Meals on Wheels would like to clarify, that the congregate meal program for seniors is not yet open in Meridian, Texas. According to Project Director Susan Baker, Senior Services plans to open congregate meals soon, at a new location, but the games and meals provided by the “Golden Gatherers” is not a Bosque County Senior Services and Meals on Wheels program.

The Clifton Police Department responded to a call on South Ave O in Clifton on Tuesday, Feb. 15, where officers found a female juvenile with a gunshot wound. Areli Villalpando was transported to Goodall- Witcher Hospital in Clifton where she later died from injuries sustained from a self inflicted gunshot wound.

The 10th annual BAC Scholarship Variety Show played to a full house on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12 to raise money for scholarships for Bosque County students. Over the last nine years the Variety Show has raised over $100,000, thanks to the generosity of Bosque County residents.
