Civic Society Makes Plans For 2023 Turkey Dinner

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society discussed future plans for its annual turkey dinner during its meeting on Wednesday, December 7, at the Clifton Civic Center. The dozen members in attendance voted to wait until later in 2023 to set the ticket price, but the group decided to increase the number of tickets sold to the community for its long-time fundraiser.

Mental health fair at CHS set for Jan. 26

The Rattlesnake Ballroom in Walnut Springs celebrated a successful toy drive on Tuesday, November 28. The venue collected $540 in cash donations on behalf of the Bosque County Child Welfare Board on the ballroom’s inaugural charitable holiday event.

Christmas Parade Lights Up Meridian

Check on veterans this weekend

The 11th day of each month is Buddy Check Day to remind Texas veterans to check in with other veterans. By getting in touch with others, people who have served in the armed forces may enjoy comradery, check on each other’s well-being and connect another veteran with a service they can use.

CISD parent survey due date coming up
