Born May 29, 1953 Passed Oct. 27, 2020 Clifton and Bosque County lost one of its greatest advocates last week with the passing of W. Leon Smith, former co-owner and publisher of The Clifton Record for over 30 years and a leading civic activist. Leon died peacefully in his home in Clifton following a long illness.
