Our beautiful Saturday afternoon weather made a perfect cruise day for the North Texas Classic Corvette Club to visit Clifton. The 100-member club came from the Denton and Plano areas, arriving in their beautiful ‘Vettes.

As part of the national day of remembrance, Bosque County first responders, residents and officials observed Patriot Day at the Bosque County Courthouse in Meridian Sunday afternoon. September 11, 2001, showed us all that everything could completely change in an instant when nearly 3,000 people died and another 25,000 were injured.

Bosque Museum docents will host an Afternoon Tea and Style Show at the museum on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 2-4 p.m. The always-popular event was last presented to a sold-out audience three years ago in September 2019. Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone or in person for $25 each.

Bryan Davis & Sue Fielden Hubert B. Nutt, Jr., of Valley Mills, was honored on August 30 for his military service during WW II by Debbie Stubbs, representing the Quilts of Valor Foundation, and by Sue Fielden, representing Bosque River Valley Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
