Another Thanksgiving

Body
A nother Thanksgiving’s in the books. Honestly, we do give thanks every day for our lives and our many blessings. So this oncea- year tradition isn’t a big holiday for me. I do have fond memories of big family get-togethers –with people four to five decades older than me– when I was often the only kid. I love Thanksgiving! It may not be the most important holiday we celebrate, but it definitely has become one of my favorites. I still subscribe to the tradition of not putting up Christmas decorations until after we have celebrated Thanksgiving.

Just a few more facts

W hen we were in Israel, it was easy to see where the country ended and the borders to neighboring nations began. Israel was green and flourishing. Beyond the borders, other lands were brown and dead. Israel is so tiny. Their neighbors are mostly much larger countries. Why is it so important that they obliterate Israel? Why commit genocide to kill Jews? Why would this be tolerated by the rest of the world? Where is the outrage that was and is felt about the war in Ukraine?
