Meridian boys, girls track host Jacket Relays

In their final dress rehearsal for the district championships, the Meridian boys and girls track teams hosted the Jacket Relays last Thursday.

In what turned out to be a highly-competitive 21-team field, the Meridian boys only managed seven points as McGregor ran away with the team title, scoring 177 points, followed by Clifton with 75.

“The Jacket Relays were really competitive,” Meridian boys track head coach Chris Roberts said. “Our kids actually did well despite the fact that we did not place as many as we would have liked.
