How did Christmas sound to early European pioneers of Texas?

Spiritual and secular music lovers alike were treated to showcases of beautiful answers at St. Olaf Kirke in the Norse Cultural District on Saturday, December 2.

The limestone walls of the 131-year-old church echoed several live performances – without electric amplification – during the 30th Annual Norwegian Country Christmas Tour. The performances kicked off with two youth choirs, followed by a musician and his family whose roots are firm in the local Texas-Norwegian community, a bluegrass-gospel band, and a jolly ensemble of tuba players
