Master gardener presents exhibit at museum

Clifton resident of Norwegian descent and artist Gurine Nilsen was painting wildflowers long before Lady Bird Johnson brought the public’s attention to Texas wildflowers.
The Bosque Museum opened a special exhibit about wildflowers using Nilsen’s paintings Sunday with a well-attended introduction by master gardener Eric Vanderbeck.
