Third Annual College, Career Day Set Dec. 9 Print E-mail

 CLIFTON — The third annual Bosque County College and Career Day will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 8 to 11:30 a.m., at Bosque Arts Center in Clifton.

Students from 12 area high schools will attend the event. Thirty college programs and 20 industry representatives will be present.

Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University, Texas Tech University, University of Texas-Austin, Baylor University, McLennan Community College, Hill College, and Texas State Technical College are among the colleges that have committed to attend. Financial aid presentations will be presented from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., in separate meeting rooms.

The following businesses and industry representatives have committed to attend: Atmos Energy, Luminant Energy-Glen Rose, Hillcrest Hospital, Providence Hospital, Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Military Recruiters, Waco Police Department, NRG-Jewitt, and many more.

Colleges and organizations sponsoring the event include Clifton High School, First Security State Bank, Bosque Arts Center, TSTC, Hill College, MCC, and Hill College in Bosque County Campus Foundation.

Hill College Bosque County Campus

This spring, the Hill College Bosque County Campus Foundation will offer the following courses at the Meridian campus: College Algebra, English 1402, Human Anatomy and Physiology, College Psychology, and Continuing Education Computer Course in the evening.
