Code Enforcement Officer Gives October 2009 Report Print E-mail

 CLIFTON — Code Enforcement Officer Paul Phillips’ report to Clifton City Council on Tuesday, Nov. 10, noted he had performed 36 building inspections and 30 code inspections in October.

The report noted 30 code violations and 42 citizen contacts.

He had 31 animal control contacts in October.

Phillips reported one citation was given for high grass and weeds.

He reported the brush day had to be cancelled due to the wet site.

He attended the monthly Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and worked on the parking ordinance, permits, and city signage.

Phillips reported that he cleaned the dog pound and sprayed it down with bleach, and worked with Judy Grimmenger on assistance with the Waco Humane Society in reference to animals. He removed five pit bulls from the city.

He reported on certificate of occupancy, at 814 North Ave. G.

Phillips said that one dog was caught with the new net gun. It was one that the city has been trying to catch for six months.
