MERIDIAN — During regular session of Bosque County Commissioners’ Court on Monday, Nov. 9, the court approved the purchase of two used vehicles for the sheriff’s department.

In other business, it passed a resolution to recognize November as Home Care and Hospice month.

The court also received and filed the county investment report.

Tanya McFatridge was appointed to the Bosque County Child Protection board.

During announcements, there was some discussion on complaints regarding the recent election and the lack of polling places. It was noted that there has been a shortage of election judges recently, which is one of the reasons that there were only four polling places. Anyone wishing to volunteer as an election judge is urged to contact the courthouse or the county clerk.
