CLIFTON — The creative talents of Melanie Harvey have given Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels’ donation jars a new and informative look — featuring different animals on every jar. “BARK wishes to thank the many merchants that are willing to display the donation jars, including: Brookshire’s Grocery Store, ALCO, Keith’s Ace Hardware, Casa Gonzalez, Mo’s Grooming, David’s Supermarket, Johnny’s Place, Albrechts Pharmacy, Antique Mall, Video’s Tonight, Chicken Express, The Clifton Record, and Zur Auto Baun, says BARK spokesman Judy Gremminger.. “Not all the new jars are in place yet — but they are coming.” BARK also wishes to thank Nancy and Bud Sparks for monitoring and collection the donations that support the kennels, she said. “Most importantly, BARK wishes to thank the public for all their support. “Every penny goes to help a stray or homeless animal,” said Gremminger. “Especially medical care, as many of the ‘angels’ that come to BARK or ill or in need of routine medical attention and shots.”
