Lee Conrad Family Reunion Celebrated Print E-mail

   CONRAD CHILDREN — The three surviving children of Lee and Clara Conrad include (standing) David Conrad, and (seated, left to right) Victor Conrad and Clarence Conrad. CLIFTON — Sixty-three descendants of Lee and Clara Conrad gathered at the farm of David and Dorothy Conrad on Saturday, Oct. 24, for an afternoon and evening of reminiscing, fellowship, and great food. 

The Conrad family settled in Bosque County, in the Chase Community northeast of Clifton, in 1883. The farm was originally owned by David’s grandfather, Ludwig, and then in later years by David’s father Lee. Three of the six children of Lee and Clara Conrad are still living, Clarence, age 91; Victor, age 86; and David, age 76.

Those in attendance by their respective families included:

Christine Conrad Reichert family: Donald and Bettie Reichert, Joe and Mary Sue Crawson, Charlie and Betty Lou Powers, Christy & Cleo Berry, Brett Crawson, Shelley Steele, and Tanner Sheffield.

Irene Conrad Hoel family: Rick Lundberg, Adam, Tricia, Avery, Adison, and Zachary Lundberg, and Lydia Hoel.

Clarence Conrad family: Clarence Conrad, Charles and Helen Conrad, Kevin, Margo, Jakob, Callie, and Nolan Conrad, Chad, Kelly, Blake, and Avery Countryman.

Victor Conrad family: Victor and Mary Conrad, Mike, Sharon, and Kimberly Conrad, Kenny, Vickie, and Mary Martinez, Adam, Kristen, and Grant Bymaster, and Gil, Melissa, Cole, LeeAnna, and Lauren Parks.

Erwin Conrad family: Emma Louise (Sis) Conrad, Pat Moore, and Robert Moore.

David Conrad Family: David and Dorothy Conrad, Steven, Charlene, Haley and Kendall Conrad, Larry, Sherry, Kyle and Katie Schulze, Kacy Horn, Scott, Vere, and Jami Conrad.
