CLIFTON — The October meeting of the Bosque County Republican Club will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m., at the Clifton Civic Center. Speaker for the evening will be District 58 State Representative Rob Orr, currently serving his third term in the Texas House of Representatives.

Rep. Orr will discuss this past controversial 81st Legislative Session as well as important issues faced by Texans.

Rep. Orr has served on the following House Committees: Business and Industry, Land and Resource Management and Local and Consent Calendars. Rep. Orr has been recognized by the Texas Association of Business with its Fighter for Free Enterprise Award for his pro-business and pro-Texas voting record.

Orr is the broker/owner of Orr & Associates Real Estate in Burleson. He and his wife, Pam, have five children and four grandchildren.
