CRANFILLS GAP — Cranfills Gap Class of 1959 celebrated its 50th reunion during Septemberfest weekend with a catered barbecue meal on Friday at the Hico Bluebonnet Country Club.

Everyone enjoyed the food, fun, and visiting with other Gap exes, said a spokesman. The class included members of the classes of 1956, 1957, 1958, and 1960. Door prizes were given to various people.

The class decorated a float for the Septemberfest parade, and despite the rain, everyone rode in the parade and won a first-place trophy.

The celebration was concluded with a gathering Saturday afternoon at the school cafeteria for Gap classes to enjoy more visiting.
