Graveside services for Michael Christian Church, infant, were held at Clifton Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.

Michael Church was born June 25, 2009, in Fort Worth, and only survived 41 minutes, but a family member said, “He touched a lot of hearts in such a short time. He was a very special baby.”

Survivors include his parents, Michael Chad and Rebecca Shields Church of Whitney; grandparents, Bill and Ellen Shields of Lake Whitney, Ken Church of Connelly Springs, N.C., and Debbie Church of Mansfield; great-grandparents, Fritz and Sydonia Sommerfeld of Brenham; aunt and uncle, Jeff and Nikki Michaud and cousin, Michaud, of Lake Whitney; uncle Kenny Church of Arlington; and lots of cousins and friends.
