 Patsy Ruth Lancaster, 81, of Clifton, passed away at Clifton Nursing and Rehab, on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009. Memorial services are scheduled at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Clifton Funeral Home Chapel.
Patsy Ruth Mandoiza was born Aug. 13, 1928,  in Waco, to John Francis and Claira Lucille Montgomery Mandoiza.
She attended Waco school and graduated in 1946 from Waco High. She graduated from Baylor University with three bachelor degrees and a Master’s degree in both music and English.
She lived in Waco until she moved to Clifton in 1963 and taught music in Clifton from 1963-1978, then in Corsicana from 1979-1994, when she moved back to Clifton.
She loved to teach music and was an accomplished violinist with the Baylor and Waco Symphony Orchestras. She loved far West Texas and travels to Mexico.
She was a bridge club member, a member of a Chamber Music Group, and Church Chorus.
She was a member of St. Johns Episcopalian Church in Corsicana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; aunts Katherin Teague and Nancy Moore; cousins, Donald Teague and Hill Montgomery, and very special friend, T.B. Gober.
Survivors include a son and wife, John and Edith Lancaster; cousin Nancy Ann McLaughlin; cousin’s wife, Darlene Montgomery; grandchildren, Etoy Gossett and husband, Rex; Barbara Patzke and husband, Steven; John Walter; great-grandchildren, J.J. Lancaster, Christa and Brian Klemann, Austin Patzke, Hannah Walter; and great-great-grandchildren, Serenity Madril and Brealynn Lancaster.
Memorials may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America in memory of Patsy Lancaster.
Clifton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
