Funeral services for Jeannette Austin Jennings, 64, of Mexia, will be Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, at 11 a.m., at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Smith of Clifton First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Bold Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Jeannette Austin was born Oct. 18, 1945, in Waco to Jack and Madglene Kruger Austin. She passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010.
On Dec. 20, 1963, she married Larry Jennings in Waco, and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John E. Austin, and an infant brother, Franklin Austin.
Survivors include her husband, Larry L. Jennings of Mexia; daughter, Vicky Erickson and son-in-law, John, of Clifton; son, Larry W. Jennings of Mexia; sisters, Lillie Motacek and husband, Larry, of Mexia; Shirley Bone Carthage, Miss.; Barbara Grady and husband, John, of Tacoma, Wash.; brothers, C. Jack Austin and wife, Celia, of Golinda, Hollin G. Austin, and wife, Delane, of Waco; grandchildren, Chlesea and Kevin Erickson of Clifton, Dylan Jennings of Mexia; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Maurice E. Patrick, Byron Patrick, Harlan Ray Austin, Jack E. Austin, Matthew Patrick, Maurice E. Patrick III.
