Graveside services for Mary Helen Shelton, 71, were held at the Terrell Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. Mary Helen Moffett was born Dec. 14, 1938, in Dexter, N.M., to Archie and Sadie Ovon Moffett. She passed away on Dec. 16, 2009 in Temple. 
She attended school at Mosheim.
She had lived in Waco, Temple, and Clifton. She loved to play Bingo and was a very kind and loving mom, grandmother, daughter, and wife.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Cathy of Robinson and Donna Terrell of Tyler; three sons, Bennie and Barbara Shelton of Temple, Eddie Shelton of Lake Whitney, and Glen Shelton of Waco; brother, Jimmy Moffett of Rosewall, N.M.; sisters, Bula Hayes of Stephenville, Jo Ann Oldham of Hillsboro, and Artie Smith of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Vernon Terrell and two sons, Ernest Shelton and David Terrell.
