MERIDIAN — A chili/bean cookoff is slated Saturday, Dec. 5, at Bosque Bottoms in Meridian to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Chili entry fee is $25, with turn-in at 3 p.m., and the beans entry fee is $10, with turn-in time at 2 p.m.

This is “no rules cooking — cook here or at home,” it was noted.

There will be live music, a live auction with cakes, pies, western art, and more. Chili Gang chili will be available by the bowl.

Admission to the grounds is one can of food for the North Bosque Food Bank - Helping Hands.
