They were smaller, lower and slower than any vehicles on Highway 6. Some looked as if they drove straight off a Sci-Fi movie set. They were solar energy cars, cruisin’ along at a comfortable 30-35 miles per hour pace on their way from Fort Worth to Baylor University in Waco last Wednesday. Because of the type of motor, the whirr of the wheels on the asphalt was the only noise to be heard.
